WILL WE HAVE AN ALL-CLASS REUNION IN LAUGHLIN NV - 2006?

Question posed by Charlie Rosenthal ('36) via postcard last January, and, bless his heart, he will be unable to be the Chairperson this time around (wonder why??? You figure it out! His class is up for its 70th!) and the two Phillips', Cal and Sue, are also not available. Sue has had a bout with cancer and all that it entails since the last Laughlin Party, so we don't need to wonder there either.

Charlie says they will all be available to help whomever steps up to the plate to get it organized. Since that note, George (JOE) Spears has raised his hand, and wants to do the Planning and Set-up. Hopefully, he will be able to put it all together and we WILL have the Reunion...

It is always a good party, and the price is right! For the Classmates who come from the east, and from Glen Ellyn surrounds, it is more $ because of the air fare, but the rest of the costs are really a bargain.

Some of the '44 Class have said they will help in any way possible, and we are just waiting for a final decision: yes or no and possible date s. IF you are interested in helping, or want further information before the next Newsletter in the fall, you may E-mail Charlie at : jcranchpre@aol.com, or write to him at 8125 East Gail Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85260.

AT ANY RATE, IF IT HAPPENS, YOU WILL HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME, SEE OLD FRIENDS AND MANY FROM THE OTHER YEARS CLASSES AS WELL...eat, reminisce, pull some slots, if you wish...and generally enjoy the weekend. Try it, you'll like it!

(Late report says that it MAY be March 13, 2006 instead of February. Plan accordingly!!)

RING A BELL FOR OUR NEW ANGEL

Because we haven't had a BIG REUNION, and because our Handsome Publisher hasn't sent a bill to our Charming Treasurer, we are pretty FAT monetarily:

TOTAL TREASURY 2004: $900.42
New donation (CAROL WILLIAMS): $20.00
TOTAL 2005: $920.42

Looks like we have enough to throw a nice 1944 gathering in Laughlin next February, if we so choose. OR, if you have any ideas about spending it, please let one of the Staff know what you are thinking. If you think we should cut back on the NEWSLETTER, and save the money there...Say so.
We wait to hear!
