We are saddened to report that Shirley Woodworth, wife and dearest 'ever loyal' pal of 50 years to our Newsletter Publisher, PHIL WOODWORTH, passed away on March 1, 2003, after a long brave bout with cancer. She was a joy to all who were lucky enough to know her, and is greatly missed.
Phil's address is: 8765 Empire Court, Cincinnati, OH 45231
PAT BORGESON
The Editor received a note from Naomi Becker in El Mirage, AZ telling us that our classmate, Pat Borgeson passed away on February 19, 2003. We do not know if Ms. Becker is a friend or relative, and she gave no details of Pat's situation.

Then there's the MONEY REPORT . . . mostly in every issue, we have asked that you send a contribution if you approve of the Newsletter. So far you have been very responsive. Some of our mates sent reservations for the September Reunion, and then had to cancel, telling us to keep the money. As a result we have a very nice balance in our Treasury! So, there will be a few more Newsletters to come! (IF The Editor doesn't crash and burn, or end up in the local Loony Bin!)

So, all things being equal, that is if costs remain about the same, there is enough cash for at least 3 more issues!

SOME THINGS I'VE LEARNED:
That one should keep her words both soft and tender, because tomorrow, she may have to eat them!!! . . . The Editor.

So, for all intents and purposes (THOSE BEING THE NEWSLETTER FOR SPRING), that's a Wrap. It has been a little more difficult this issue, as outside of the Laughlin Reunion and travel news from my most willing 'stringers', not one of you has really sent me any great news. Now, c'mon! I know you have some stuff going on in your lives that the rest of us would love to hear about.
Now, PHIL found a couple of "missing" grads, and I expect to hear l-o-n-g stories from each of them when they finally get a copy of our NEWSLETTER (lucky guys): JOHN FORBES-ECKINGER, Rio Piedras, PR (there's a story!); DON HARMON, Louisville, KY; RAY KNIPPEN, Hialeah, Fl; and BOB POLLOCK, Austin, TX.
(Word clue from Part 3: If you remove the "esses" from each word, it becomes another word.) You all figured that one out . . . right?!
There's also the story of our WAR with Iraq, and we all must have some comment worth publishing. Personally, as the Editor, I won't touch that with a ten foot pole for reasons already stated. But YOU can! So, if you have something to say about ANY thing, please send it here first! OK?
