Apropos of our nostalgic return "Home" for the Reunion . . .
Ed Kett sent me an article from the Tribune about driving tours through Glen Ellyn and Lombard. This is worthwhile to jog some memories, and a fun short investigation for the Reunion weekend in September!
[Webmaster's note: this is one time when the Web version of the Newsletter is at a disadvantage compared to the print version: the article is printed on two pages, and images of it scan as REALLY BIG files. So each page of the article here is on a separate Web page:
Tours 1, and Tours 2. Extra patience may be required for the downloads, but the article is interesting.]

An anonymous friend sent me some wonderful old pictures of people you and I know, and made me
promise NOT to reveal my source . . . I wish there were room enough to put all of them in this issue!!
Al Osterling said to me, "It's feast or famine, isn't it?", and he is correct . . . Sometimes I am just desperate for news, and this time I have an overflow . . . I guess we could have 16 pages, but then it would go over the mailing cost!! So, this is it, Gang . . . One more newsletter hits the stands!
PLEASE make your reservations for the Fall Reunion and spend this "LAST HURRAH" laughing and scratching with us! There is plenty of time to get your money to Jim. DO IT!
Here are a few "lovers" from the past who you will recognize
And from the present day
